Baltimore Zombie Walk

God damn genius. The awesomely undead Angela’s Baltimore Zombie Walk went off without a hitch last night. There must have been a horde 100 strong, shambling through the inner harbor, seeking the flesh of the living. Reactions were a little different than I expected, mostly indifferent lack of acknowledgement, as if people assumed this must happen all the time and didn’t want to look uncool by acting surprised. Thankfully, once we hit the main plaza at the harbor and walked past some fine dining establishments, people got into it. It seems that as soon as a few people in the crowd start reacting, everyone else decides it’s okay for them too.

Right as the walk started, we were innundated by ambulances. I can only assume that drivers passing by actually noticed people who looked injured and phoned it in. The first one to came by stopped and asked us what was going on, then left when it was obviously not real. The second one actually parked and opened its doors, and the woman inside got out her camera. We all rushed the ambulance, arms outstretched and screaming for brains. A third one followed us for a couple blocks, then drove off. After that, I imagine they sent word out to all units not to waste their time.

The most fun was when we got to the carousel. Many of the more destitute undead balked at the $1.50 price, but I thought I’d be a good consumer and patronize my local small businesses. Also, I got blood all over the froggy.
