So there’s this new concept car called the Aptera. It’s a 2-seat, 3-wheel bio-deisel hybrid. It gets 330 mpg. Of course, there’s a drawback. The thing is tiny. It would get run over by an SUV and they wouldn’t even notice. So it will never happen, but there’s a lesson here. We have the technology today to create cars 20x more efficient than your average car out there today. The only thing stopping us from solving a major portion of the energy crisis is the fact that so many people have bought SUVs that the streets are far too dangerous.
